What can I say. He's easy on the eyes, hard on the keyboards, and a great performer. The title refers to the fact that most of these tracks (or specific remixes) have not been released anywhere else. Tori Amos, Paul van Dyk, Seal, Sarah Mclachlan, Timo Maas, Hybrid, etc etc ........ they know what "BT" stands for. |

When it comes to popular music, a proven formula is a safer bet than chancing something new. Apparently, such is the wisdom behind Conjure One, the new project spearheaded by Delerium and Front Line Assembly architect Rhys Fulber. As he did with Delerium, Fulber pairs guest vocalists of the mostly ethereal variety with gauzy ambient-tribal pop full of Eastern shadings and just enough chanting to maintain the spooky quotient. And when Fulber nails a vibe--as he does twice with singer Poe on the dreamy, goose-fleshy "Center of the Sun" and the downright chilling "Make a Wish," and with Tea Party belter Jeff Martin on the widescreen "Premonition"--he nails it, creating a haunted landscape best described as New Age-worldbeat. There are some clunkers here, too. Sinead O'Connor is thwarted by the leaden clichés littering "Tears from the Moon," and Israeli vocalist Chemda shamelessly borrows from the late, great Ofra Haza to negligible effect. But anyone who dug the Delerium project--or kindred spirits such as Dead Can Dance--will declare Conjure One a success. |

The double dose of Full intention is very light and fluffy disco house, but things get a bit harder with Junior's Time Warp mix of Sandy B-at one point, there's pops in the record noticeable if you listen with headphones. The Rosabel Anthem of Jennifer Holliday is definitely an anthem-peak hour build ups and driving riff. Tony Moran mix of Kevin Aviance-awesome. The Junior Vasquez mix of Angel Moraes-well, it's a good junior mix, but the male vocals are painful, as is the melody. Blech. Even so, if you're a huge junior fan, this is one of few CDs that actually has this track, although it doesn't even run 6 minutes on here. Even more male vocals follow, but it's a stunningly pumpin' mix of the pet shop boys by Peter Rauhofer, what is by far the best mix of this song by "The Collaboration." |

The latest edition in this stellar series. Deep Dish have their hands in everything these days ...... usually with unprecedented success. This release includes IIO's hugely successful "Rapture", Morel and 16B's "Driving to Heaven", and the bangin' "I Feel Stereo" from Dino Lenny. Get it. |

In this mix, Tony gives us a couple of latin-tinged percussion-driven instrumentals. "I Feel For You" by Bob Sinclair has a pretty memory-invoking Cerrone hook and "Nothingness" by Karmadelic is a flat-out kick-butt disco song -- you *will* be hitting the repeat button on this one!
